Awesome food, very friendly and helpful staff. Ask about the specials, usually have something yummy and new to try. However, our ads are for local businesses and are unobstrusive.
Whether you’re buying a gift for someone out of town or want it all for yourself, there are places that can make your dreams come true. There is good pertinent information but I would like to see what types of food they serve/cater. We hope you give us a chance and whitelist our website. Parking can be challenging in Asheville. Please give plenty of time to park and arrive 10 minutes prior to your tour time. There are some small hills on our downtown walk.

Discover some of our area’s most common edibles of field and forest just five minutes from downtown Asheville. Afterwards, enjoy edibles seen on the tour at the Grove Park Inn’s sunset-view restaurant. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. It's a disturbing truth - more people are dying from lifestyle choices like sugar than from gunpowder.
Good southern sweet tea, too. This is an activity you could do more than once and have a totally different experience each time. You truly felt like they wanted you to have an amazing time.

We had a great time strolling around with Becky. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot and she created some excitement for us to forage around our own area when we returned home. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Bring a government-issued ID if you plan on drinking alcohol. This is currently a vaccinated only tour. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes; walking distance is around 2 miles.

We eat there regularly and have yet to have bad food or service. I tried the fried green tomatoes and loved them. All the homemade spreads were great too.
The caffeine in coffee increases catecholamine, also known as your stress hormones. That means the burst of energy or ‘awake’ feeling that coffee brings is actually heightened stress wrapped in temporary faux-focus. When you give up coffee for health reasons (and there are many – coffee is classified as a drug by the FDA), you don’t have to give up those little daily rituals that you’ve built around coffee.
Yep - sugar is more dangerous than gunpowder. Again, there are more deaths this year from the side effects of too much sugar than those that are casualties of war.
